Hi there!
A little bit about myself:
I was born and raised in the outdoors of Southwest Colorado and have a deep love for the mystery of mountains. My perfect day includes riding my mountain bike, snowboarding, or hiking in the high country. I love my profession as a high school Science Teacher and life-long adventurer.
My high school years were spent attending Montrose High School and racing Bicycle Motocross (BMX). I spent one and a half years on the Front Range of Colorado attending both Colorado State University then University of Northern Colorado. The rest of my college career was at Fort Lewis College, studying Biology for Secondary Education and racing bikes for the FLC Cycling Team. I fulfilled my Student Teaching requirements as a long-term Substitute Science Teacher and Assistant High School Track Coach at Mancos High School. The Durango Devo bike program also holds a special place in my heart as I spend much of my free time coaching young riders on the joys of mountain biking.
I like to approach life with an open mind and a positive spin. Dogs are my favorite adventure buddies but I appreciate all animals large and small. My grandparents are my heroes and I hope to read as many books as they have.
